Ms. Mitchell was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She received her education at Texas Christian University (B.A. 1987, Cum Laude, Departmental Honors) and University of Texas (J.D. 1990). She was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1990, and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Texas. Ms. Mitchell is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Tarrant County Bar Association. She is of counsel to the firm.

Legal Experience and Areas of Practice

Ms. Mitchell primarily practices in the areas of insurance defense litigation, workers compensation defense, personal injury defense, trucking company defense, transportation law, employment law defense and subrogation, maintaining an active trial and administrative hearing practice. She has provided representation on behalf of numerous insurance companies and third party administrators in hundreds of complex matters. She has also handled hundreds of hearings before the Texas Department of Insurance – Division of Workers’ Compensation on behalf of insurance carriers and self insureds.
